What I love about Horsley Towers
As a videographer, it’s a joy to work in a place where every angle and shot tells a story, and at Horsley Towers, wherever I point my lense, I feel spoilt for choice.
Built in 1820, the estate has preserved its historical charm while incorporating modern luxury in its refurbished rooms. Inside, the natural light dances beautifully across spaces, creating striking contrasts for jaw-dropping images and videos. The chapel, with its stained-glass windows, bathes the room in stunning rainbow hues, perfectly complementing the venue’s rich sense of history. I particulary enjoyed filming in the the cloisters which are lined with intricate tiling, adding unique character to every shot. Every detail, from the architecture to the ambiance, tells a story, making it a dream location for capturing moments that will last a lifetime.
As the recommended videographer at Horsley Towers, I have visited multiple times and I feel that what truly sets Horsley Towers apart is the staff. Their attention to detail is remarkable—they think of everything. Their professionalism ensures the day flows naturally and effortlessly, letting everyone stay present in the moment.
Even if you’re not planning your wedding at Horsley Towers, I highly recommend a visit. The hotel rooms within the towers are absolutely stunning, with original 19th century architecture and luxurious touches; and Tara and I particularly enjoyed indulging in the big, hearty breakfast—it’s an experience not to be missed!
